So much of this resonates with me, I also have ongoing health issues after a bad case of COVID in 2022. I've found medical people don't want to say it's long Covid so I'm under a neurology dept with impossibly long wait times.
I'm also regaining my love of photography this year and looking forward to seeing more of your work.
I'm so sorry to hear you're going through this too Janet! I've found waiting for help from doctors to be incredibly slow and disappointing - while I think the NHS here in the UK is wonderful, they just don't have the resources currently to better understand underfunded conditions like CFS/long COVID.
What I'm finding much more helpful is listening to the stories of people who've recovered (partly or fully), as there are plenty of them out there, and they offer me a lot of hope. Everyone is different, but it's so useful to hear what has/hasn't worked for other people.
I also find creative practices like photography, writing and pottery so beneficial in my recovery (and in general) ♥️
I'm taking a lot of comfort from the fact that I mostly feel much better than I used to, so I can tell myself I don't have a degenerative condition. I agree about the benefits of creative pursuits. And yoga, and trying to keep a positive mindset (not always easy I know).
The little details, was what made this read all the more wonderful ❤❤ much love. I hope you're healthy and happy
Thank you so much Ankita ✨
